Our design is centered around you and what you need. We've seen and experienced the difficulty and decided there has to be a better way.

EZEStep is developed to be the best solution for the problem of getting into the back of your truck and back down. Our product creation and development are done by people who use it, always asking ‘How can this be better?’

We do this because over the years, the way many products are designed leaves you wondering if the designer ever actually used it or cared enough to consider the users point of view.

 

The Components

2 Step Bar Halves  – Stainless steel tube

  • We normally make the step bar in 2 pieces to make it easier to ship and install.
  • We cut the length of each leg to give some positioning flexibility and it’s easier to manage the smaller piece when you’re installing EZEStep. This will usually leave a gap between the half steps at the center bracket. The center connector fills this.
  • The finish on these parts provides a grip surface. The black finish is more aggressive and the clear is textured. We include clear grip tape with the clear finish parts to give added grip, so you can position it where you need it, as much as along most of the length if you choose.

Center connector

  • Fills the gap between the step bar halves that may vary slightly from truck to truck, as well as small installation variations
  • This also increases the overall structural strength of EZEStep.

5 Brackets

  • 1 Center bracket
  • 2 rear brackets
  • 2 side brackets

Stainless Steel Hardware. All of our fasteners as stainless steel so that after years of riding under your truck, they will still be almost like new! No corroding together or seizing when you try to undo the bolts and nuts.

Oversized fasteners - We go big to avoid issues we’ve seen over the years with small fasteners.

 

Pre-assembly

To make installation easier and make instructions simpler to understand. We deliver the product with side and rear brackets loosely positioned on the step bar. The carriage bolts and locknuts are placed in the clamp band that wraps around the step bar.

The center connector is also placed in 1 tube half and held with a fastener
